Local Pharmacy Pick-Up

How do I choose the Local Pharmacy Pick-Up option for my prescription?

When using the MD Aligne web site, you will be prompted to choose a local pharmacy for pick-up.  Once you choose local pharmacy pick-up, follow these steps:

  • Select your preferred pharmacy from the map & list near your home address (automatic).
  •     If you want to choose from pharmacies near a different address, enter a ZIP Code.
  •     From the list of pharmacies, choose the preferred pharmacy for pick-up.
  • A confirmation email will be sent.
  • When the prescription is ready, pick up the prescription at the selected pharmacy.

Is Local Pharmacy Pick-Up really free?

There is no cost to use Local Pharmacy Pick-Up!

How long will it take for my prescription to be available at my local pharmacy?

Once your consultation is complete, you will receive a confirmation email with your prescription information (when medically necessary).  We recommend waiting an additional 3-4 hours after your prescription has been submitted to the pharmacy and then call your local pharmacy to confirm the prescription is ready for pick-up.

What if I have a question about my Local Pharmacy Pick-Up prescription?

MD Aligne Care Representatives are available Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 10:00 PM ET, CT, MT & PT to answer your question or direct your question to an appropriate medical or pharmacy expert.  In addition, you are welcome to direct your questions to the pharmacist on staff at the Local Pharmacy Pick-Up location.

Can someone else pick-up my prescription for me?

Yes, but it is best for you to call the local pharmacy and explain that you want someone else to pick up your order.  You will probably have to explain who will be picking it up and they will probably have to show ID.

How long will I have to pick up my prescription at the local pharmacy?

You have seven days from the date the script goes to the pharmacy to pick up your prescription.

Will I need picture ID to pick up my prescription?

Usually no, but each pharmacy is different and certainly has the right to ask for positive ID before giving you a prescription.  It’s best to bring both your confirmation and a photo ID.

Will Local Pharmacy Pick-Up be available at my usual pharmacy?

MD Aligne’s Local Pick-Up option includes 50,000 pharmacies throughout the US.  But some do not participate in this network.  So, we can’t guarantee that the exact pharmacy you use is available for Local Pharmacy Pick-Up.

If I am away from home, can I have my prescription sent to a local pharmacy where I am located?

Yes you may.  If it is in a different state, be sure to have your confirmation and a photo ID.

What if I want to return my Local Pharmacy Pick-Up prescription?

Sorry, US and state laws do not allow any returns of filled prescriptions.

What if there is a problem with my Local Pharmacy Pick-Up prescription?

Your confirmation email will include a toll free number, which you may call if there are any problems picking up your prescription.  However, this number is different from that of your local pharmacy.  Please check the number if you have questions for the local pharmacy.
